Mayflower is a Montessori school that fosters independent learning and follows the child in their development. We have a Toddler Community ages 16 – 33 months and four Children’s Houses ages 33 months through Kindergarten. Mayflower Early Childhood Center serves an economically diverse community and provides high quality Montessori learning environments that meet the developmental needs of the whole child.
Applying to Mayflower Montessori Early Childhood Center is very simple: there are three easy steps.
Step One:
Let us know that you are interested in learning more about Mayflower by visiting the Tours & Inquiries page to fill out your inquiry form.
Step Two:
After you have submitted your inquiry form, we will schedule a conversation or a tour. You will meet with our Director and/or our Family Engagement Coordinator to learn about our community. You can also view a virtual tour of the school here.
Step Three:
After your tour or conversation, we invite you to apply. We provide you with a password to submit the Enrollment Application (under the Admissions menu), along with a required $80 application fee.
If a space is available: After we receive the Enrollment Application and fee, you will receive an email from Transparent Classroom. Please submit the student information forms, Enrollment Agreement, and non-refundable $200 deposit.
If no space is available: We will notify you that you have been entered into the waitlist.
Wait List Information
Our wait list fills quickly. We encourage you to submit your application and the $80 application fee soon after your tour/conversation.
We acknowledge sibling preference for the wait list.
Montessori philosophy informs balance of classrooms, in addition to place on the list.
We provide preference for tuition assistance families as part of our mission.
To apply for tuition assistance, submit a Tuition Assistance Application after your Initial Enrollment Application has been submitted and you receive the Student Information Packet. Our Family Engagement Coordinator can support you in completing the application.
